
well... up to this point, my efforts at sangria-making have been pretty trial and error. but this past weekends batch, surprisingly, turned out pretty freakin' awesome! so here's what i put in it, in the hopes that repeating it will have equally serendipitous results:
- chop up the following fruit and put in a pitcher of reasonable size: one small orange, one lime, one apple (i used braeburn, but anything on the sweet side should do), a good handful of strawberries.
- pour in about 3/4 of a bottle of yellowtail shiraz.
- pour in regular grape juice until pitcher is mostly full, but leave a few inches at the top.
- add a good splash of orange juice.
- fill the rest with white grape juice.
- store in the fridge over night to allow the flavors to really mix.
- serve very cold, in large glasses, and you'll be tipsy before you know it :)
