not-so-scary scary a.s.s., etc.

hmm. not-so-scary scary movies. not sure about those. but movies with a general halloweenish theme could include:

• it's the great pumpkin, charlie brown
• garfield halloween (for whatever reason, scared the crap out of me as a kid, but i'm sure it's not really that bad).
• young frankenstein (well... mel brooks isn't scary, right?)
• rocky horror picture show (only saw it once, and it's more bizarre and kinky than scary, as i recall)

i'd really like to see "the shining," as somehow i've lived 25 years without having seen it, but i'm pretty sure that'll get a big a.s.s. veto from amber ;)

at any rate... i don't have access to any of the above movies, so i'm not sure how much help that is.

also wanted to mention that goldschlager (cinnamon schnapps) is good in cider as well, and as i happen to have a bottle of it, i shall bring it on saturday. though rum sounds excellent to me! RUUUUUUUUUUM!
